Overview
A premier global transportation technology manufacturer is seeking a high-performing Field Service Technician to deliver expert technical support, installation, and troubleshooting for advanced hardware and software systems nationwide.
Compensation & Location:
Base Pay: $75,000 - $88,000 / year + Overtime (OT) Available
Travel: Up to 75% field travel
Essential Functions:
Serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for system installations, pre-startups, and maintenance.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues on site.
Provide hands-on customer training and build strong, professional client relationships.
Document preventive and corrective maintenance activities clearly and accurately.
Position Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of technical field service experience OR military experience in electronics, avionics, electrical, or technical ratings (highly valued and considered equivalent).
