School-Based Physical Therapist - Brooklyn, NYShift Details
- Shift hours: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
- Location: Brooklyn, NY 11208
Caseload & Schedule
- 1 individual student / 1 individual session per week
- 3 group students / 4 group sessions per week
- Sessions are 30 minutes each
- Approximate weekly onsite hours: 2.5 hours
- Exact hours and session duration to be confirmed in interview
Population
Position Overview
- On-site, school-based Physical Therapist role
- Deliver individual and group IEP services
- Document student progress
- Collaborate with school personnel
- Open school-based PT caseload
Requirements
- Current NYS Physical Therapy license
- New York State Education Department license
- Age-appropriate experience
- Ability to provide English services
Mandatory NYCPS ORS Clearance
- All providers must be cleared through NYCPS Office of Related Services prior to starting
- Providers must submit resume, licenses, certifications, availability, and provider SSN via secure Stafferlink collection process
- Individual provider applications will be coordinated directly with ORS
- No start permitted before ORS clearance and RSA authorization
