About the Role

We are seeking a driven Enterprise Account Executive to join our growing Federal Field Sales team and drive new business acquisition within assigned Federal accounts. In this role, you will formulate and execute a territory strategy focused on greenfield penetration, net new logo acquisition, and revenue growth in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan to prospect, manage, and close net new Federal Civilian business opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from outreach and product trials to strategic contract negotiations and deal closure.
  • Partner with internal channel partner sales organizations to establish initiatives that deliver a minimum of 5 deal registrations per quarter.
  • Meet or exceed individual quotas by penetrating greenfield accounts and securing at least 1 qualified net new logo per quarter.
  • Conduct account analysis, quarterly business reviews, and provide accurate revenue forecasting.
  • Drive market presence through targeted customer engagements, executive briefings, marketing campaigns, and industry conferences.
  • Initiate expansion discussions and identify key decision-makers and budgetary timelines to maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Travel expectation: Up to 50% travel for field-based sales activities, including customer meetings, site visits, and relationship-building.
  • This role requires regular travel, estimated to be more than 50% of the time, including both domestic and international destinations as needed. The successful candidate must be comfortable with frequent travel to support business operations, customer and partner engagements and team collaboration.
What You Bring
  • 5-10+ years of quota-carrying tech sales experience with a proven track record of landing net new business in greenfield territories.
  • 2+ years of experience selling technical solutions directly into the Federal space (required).
  • Hunter mentality with extensive experience prospecting, displacing incumbents, and navigating complex government buying cycles.
  • Strong MEDDIC knowledge and execution capability (highly preferred).
  • Experience selling SaaS, subscription, Cloud software, networking, or physical security solutions (preferred).
  • Experience collaborating with channel partners to co-sell and drive partner-led revenue (preferred).
  • BS/BA degree (preferred).
  • Travel expectation: Must be willing to travel up to 50% for customer-facing field activities.
  • In-office expectations: Field-based role requiring a strong local presence within the assigned territory (must live in territory).

Annual Pay Range

With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)

Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
