Qualifications

• 7+ years of systems engineering experience specifically with telecom satellites, preferably with digital payloads.
• Sub-system expertise in at least one area: Communication Payload, FSW, C&DH, FDIR, or Satellite Operations.
• Proven ability to coordinate payload-related tests during AI&T phases.
• Experience in phases B/C/D/E of space program development.
• Proficient in producing and owning Mechanical and Electrical Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills essential for team collaboration.
• Willingness to work on-site in Montreal for over 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interfaces and interactions between the Payload and the Satellite Platform at the system level.
• Manage and document all Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Facilitate daily communications between Payload, C&DH, OBDH, Satellite Operations, FSW, and FDIR teams.
• Oversee payload-related satellite testing during AI&T phases.
• Assist in the design and in-orbit operations of satellite systems.
• Support the transition processes from remote work to onsite operations post-relocation.
• Ensure all phases of space program development are accounted for and compliant.
