Full Job Description
Novant Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our outpatient clinical team in the Hilton Head and Bluffton area. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive, relationship-centered care within a collaborative, modern practice environment supported by dedicated clinical staff and advanced practice providers.

What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality, comprehensive preventive, acute, and chronic disease management for adult and/or pediatric patient panels in a 100% outpatient clinical setting.
  • Collaborate with an integrated team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), medical assistants, and registered nurses to streamline patient access and continuity of care.
  • Utilize enterprise electronic health records (Epic) for documentation, order entry, and timely care coordination.
  • Participate in outpatient phone-call rotation and peer clinical quality reviews to uphold evidence-based care standards.
  • Foster strong, longitudinal relationships with patients, families, and community specialists within the referral network.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited school of medicine.
  • Training: Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Licensure & Certification:
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (with intent to become certified within specified timeframe).
    • Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
    • Active DEA registration and South Carolina Controlled Substance Certification.
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic acumen, collaborative communication style, and a dedication to patient satisfaction, safety, and operational excellence.
