About the Role:CBRE is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead operations for a premier workplace occupied by one of the world's most innovative professional networking and technology organizations. Based full-time in a landmark Manhattan skyscraper in the heart of New York City, this role will oversee approximately 500,000 square feet across nine floors, including a vibrant workplace environment featuring a commercial café and kitchen operation.

The successful candidate will manage a team, while serving as a trusted advisor to the client and vendor partners.
What You'll Do:- Build, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive facilities management program for a large-scale corporate workplace.
- Lead, coach, and develop an onsite facilities team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service excellence.
- Manage daily building operations, maintenance activities, and workplace services across a multi-floor campus environment.
- Oversee third-party vendor relationships, service performance, contract compliance, and procurement activities.
- Prepare, manage, and present monthly operating budgets, financial reports, forecasts, and cost-savings initiatives to client leadership.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and support maintenance planning for building systems, workplace amenities, and kitchen equipment.
- Review floor plans and space utilization data to support workplace planning, projects, and operational decision-making.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge-sharing to technicians and service partners while ensuring quality, safety, and operational standards are achieved.
What You'll Need:- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and related facilities management experience will also be considered.
- Experience leading facilities management operations within a large corporate, technology, hospitality, or commercial office environment.
- Proven success implementing new programs, processes, and teams in a growing or evolving workplace setting.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, identifying cost savings, and presenting financial results to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated expertise managing third-party vendors, service contracts, and performance metrics.
- Ability to interpret floor plans and collaborate on workplace planning and occupancy initiatives.
- Experience mentoring technicians and guiding maintenance operations through technical and operational challenges.
- Knowledge of commercial kitchen or food service equipment maintenance is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other Microsoft Office applications; experience with ServiceNow CMMS, Coupa, and financial management systems such as Adaptive preferred. Power BI or analytics reporting experience is a plus.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $130,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
