Full Job Description
About the Role

We are looking for an Executive Business Partner to support our CEO, VP of Finance, and VP of People. You'll be a force multiplier across the executive team: managing complex calendars, driving critical follow-through, and, above all, representing these leaders' voices in writing and in person with precision and polish. Because you'll routinely draft, edit, and speak on behalf of executives across the company, this role calls for a very high bar for written and verbal communication: clear, correct, well-organized, and appropriately toned for the audience, every time.

This role is a great fit for someone who embodies Render's Operating Principles, particularly Own impact and outcomes (you anticipate needs before being asked), Raise the quality bar (you take real pride in the quality of every email, deck, and invite that carries a leader's name), Reason clearly; execute quickly (you triage and act fast, even with incomplete information), and Build together (you build trust quickly with a wide range of stakeholders across the company).

What You'll Do
  • Own and proactively manage complex, fast-changing calendars across three executives, resolving conflicts and prioritizing time against what matters most
  • Approach AI as a core productivity partner and proactively use AI to automate scheduling and streamline communications, research, and other daily workflows rather than defaulting to manual processes out of habit or hesitation
  • Draft, edit, and proofread executive communications including calendar invites, Slack messages, memos, and decks to a consistently high bar for clarity, correctness, and tone, since these often represent the leader's voice directly
  • Prepare polished briefing materials ahead of meetings, including attendee bios, context, and clear agendas
  • Take notes in meetings and offsites; synthesize discussions into clear, well-organized action items and drive follow-through to completion
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel logistics end-to-end
  • Plan and help run internal events, staff meetings, and offsites, from logistics through agenda-setting
  • Track deadlines and deliverables across email, Slack, and other tools; proactively flag when priorities are slipping
  • Handle sensitive financial and people-related information with a high degree of discretion and judgment
  • Manage ad hoc research, vendor coordination, expenses, and other operational needs across the three executives
  • Serve as a trusted, high-context communication conduit between the executives and the rest of the company
What We're Looking For
  • AI-forward mindset: excited by AI tools, and consistently looking for ways to use them to increase velocity, output, and strategic value.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills: you write clearly and correctly under time pressure, and can adapt tone and formality for different audiences (this is a hard requirement)
  • Proven experience as an Executive Business Partner supporting senior leaders, ideally supporting multiple executives simultaneously at a fast-growing company
  • Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment handling confidential financial and people-related information
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing, high-stakes demands without dropping details
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and moving quickly; you reason clearly about what matters most and execute without waiting for perfect information
  • A strong ownership mindset: you anticipate needs, follow through without reminders, and hold yourself accountable for outcomes, not just tasks completed
  • Ability to build trust and rapport quickly across a wide range of personalities and seniority levels
Nice-to-Haves
  • Direct experience supporting a CEO, CFO/Head of Finance, or Head of People
  • Experience planning company offsites or events at scale
  • Familiarity with standard EA tooling (Google Workspace, Slack, expense platforms, travel booking tools)
  • Prior experience operating in both early-stage and more scaled organizations

If this role excites you but you don't meet every single requirement, we'd still love to hear from you-your unique experience might be just what we need.

Benefits
  • 4 weeks of paid vacation.
  • 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
  • Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
  • 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
  • Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
  • Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
  • Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
  • Continuous learning benefits & related support.

This position is generally not eligible for new visasponsorship. At Render's discretion, the business may sponsor existing visa transfers. Applicants who require sponsorship must receive business authorization.
