Job Duties- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles systems including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Use power of communication to regularly, effectively, and directly relay information to Service Advisor in order to keep customers informed of their vehicle status
- Provide a timely and comprehensive estimate of time needed for repairs
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy while ensuring alignment with all state and manufacturer standards
- Perform multi-point inspection on each vehicle
Minimum Qualifications- Broad experience in all areas of automotive service & repair
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Dependable
- Clean and valid Driver's License
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Process and detail oriented
- Ambitious with a desire to learn and grow
Ideal Qualifications- Master ASE Certification
- Virginia State Inspector Certification
- Emission Repair Technician Certification
- Automotive technician experience or equivalent education
