Full Job Description
About the role:

As the ERP Systems/Integration Lead, you will be the primary technical and operational owner of Bolt Graphics' enterprise resource planning system - the financial, operational, and transactional backbone connecting Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, and Engineering. Your immediate mission will be twofold: serving as a primary driver of the selection and implementation of our ERP platform, then owning its end-to-end configuration, integration, and continuous improvement (such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Deltek/Costpoint), and establishing the data management practices that keep transactional data - inventory, BOM costing, purchase orders, work orders, financial postings - accurate, timely, and audit-ready as we scale toward high-volume production.

This is a high-impact, technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in ERP configuration, financial and operational data integrity, systems integration, and cross-functional influence across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering.

What you'll do:

  • ERP System Ownership & Administration
  • Platform Selection & Implementation: Serve as a primary stakeholder in evaluating and selecting Bolt's ERP platform, then lead its end-to-end implementation - from requirements gathering and vendor evaluation through configuration, data migration, and go-live.
  • System Configuration: Own and maintain core ERP configuration - chart of accounts, item records, BOMs/routings, costing methods, warehouse and location structures, and approval workflows - ensuring the system reflects how Bolt actually operates.
  • Digital Thread Integration: Architect and maintain the integrations between the ERP, PLM (Arena/Agile), MES, and other business systems (procurement, CRM) to ensure a single source of truth for item, BOM, and transactional data.
  • Release Management: Own the ERP roadmap - evaluating modules, planning upgrades, testing patches, and managing rollout of new functionality with minimal disruption to operations.
  • User Enablement: Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP end users, providing training, troubleshooting, and permissioning to ensure the system is used correctly and consistently across departments.

Data Management & Governance

  • Data Quality & Cleansing: Establish data-quality automation rules and validation scripts to proactively catch duplicate records, costing errors, or incomplete transactional metadata before they hit financials or operations.
  • Master Data Alignment: Partner with the PLM/Master Data function to ensure item, vendor, and BOM data flowing into the ERP remains synchronized, versioned, and traceable back to the engineering source of truth.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Build and maintain dashboards and reports (SQL, Tableau/Power BI, or native ERP reporting) that give Finance, Supply Chain, and Leadership real-time visibility into inventory health, cost variances, and data quality metrics.
  • Data Stewardship: Act as a key voting member of the Data Governance Council, aligning cross-functional stakeholders on data standards, access controls, and change-impact analysis.

Supply Chain & Financial Data Integrity

  • Costing & Valuation: Own the integrity of standard/actual costing structures within the ERP, ensuring inventory valuation, COGS, and variance reporting are accurate and audit-ready.
  • Multi-Tier Ecosystem Alignment: Establish secure, automated data-sharing protocols with external foundries, ODMs, and EMS partners for purchase orders, receipts, and inventory visibility.
  • Audit & Compliance: Conduct routine integrity audits across the ERP transactional data stack (POs, work orders, inventory transactions) to ensure compliance, traceability, and readiness for financial audit and high-volume manufacturing scale.

Qualifications (required):

  • 7-10+ years of experience in ERP administration, systems ownership, or data management within a complex hardware/manufacturing environment.
  • ERP Implementation: Proven track record of owning or leading at least one full-lifecycle ERP implementation, migration, or major module rollout (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Deltek/Costpoint preferred).
  • Systems Integration: Direct experience mapping schemas and scoping APIs for ERP-to-PLM integrations (e.g., connecting NetSuite/SAP to Arena/Agile). Experience with middleware/iPaaS tools (Celigo, Workato, MuleSoft) is a major plus.
  • Technical Literacy: Strong proficiency in data analysis and validation techniques. Experience writing SQL queries, utilizing advanced Excel, or leveraging Python/data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) to audit and report on data health metrics.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of manufacturing and financial data flows - inventory transactions, costing/valuation, procurement cycles - and how they connect to upstream engineering (BOM/PLM) data.
  • Education: BS/BA in Information Systems, Operations, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Master's degree or relevant ERP/data certifications preferred.

Key Competencies for Success

  • Systems Thinker: You look beyond individual transactions and see the entire enterprise data landscape. You understand how a single item record change ripples through inventory valuation, procurement, and financial reporting.
  • Pragmatic Gatekeeper: You know how to build rigorous, uncompromised data and system controls without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy that slows down agile startup teams.
  • Cross-Functional Diplomat: Ability to advocate for data integrity and system rigor while translating highly technical ERP and data concepts into clear operational value for executives, finance, supply chain, and engineering alike.

Compensation Range: $145,000-$175,000 per year (California). This range represents the anticipated base pay for this role; the final offer may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location.

Benefits:

  • Medical, Dental, & Vision - 100% covered premiums
  • Equity - Stock Options
  • 401(k) match
  • WFH Hardware Reimbursement
