OverviewAs an experienced Research Sales Associate, you will draw on your existing knowledge of equity research, options theory and implementation, client management and engagement, and the broader capital markets to deliver immediate value to our institutional clients. You will further sharpen your expertise in financial analysis and derivatives strategy, deepening your ability to effectively communicate Susquehanna’s product to our institutional client base. Research Sales Associates are expected to currently hold their Series 7 and 63 licenses, and are encouraged to be progressing through the CFA curriculum.
In this role you will:
- Assist in marketing SIG’s differentiated, fundamental equity research product and Derivative content from a generalist sales perspective through daily morning sales calls, conference calls hosting corporate management teams and industry experts, internal analyst meetings and event marketing.
- Cover and Co-cover a suite of Susquehanna’s diverse institutional clients delivering Research, Derivative Strategy, Market Intelligence, Corporate Access events while strengthening our firm-to-firm relationship.
- Work with various internal groups, such as Research Analysts, Derivatives, Market Intelligence, Corporate Access, Sales-Trading and Trading to assist with client requests.
- Help origination and onboarding of new derivative and equity accounts through a wide range of Susquehanna’s resources (Research, Market Intelligence, meetings and networking).
- Interact with company management and institutional investors and liaise with Senior Salespeople, Research Analysts and Associates, Corporate Access and Traders to help support the desk on regular ongoing client coverage.
- Spearhead various projects with an aim of improving efficiencies on the team.
- Gain exposure to some of the US’s most successful asset managers through the teams’ calls, dinners and events.
- Continuously find ways to utilize and implement artificial intelligence to improve and streamline daily workflows.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in area such as Finance, Economics, Engineering or Mathematics preferred, but not required.
- At least 3-5 years of experience within Finance or Sales required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of our organization and our clients’ firms.
- Established track record of developing and managing institutional client relationships, with demonstrated success in a sales or client-facing capacity.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Excellent research, writing and organizational skills with a keen focus on attention to detail.
- Experience or willingness to learn intricacies and deep application of Agentic AI with a purpose of creating efficiencies, driving innovation and streamlining workflow.
- Resourceful, independent thinker and self-starter who is motivated to excel in an evolving industry. Consistently displays energy, drive and the desire to excel.
- Passion for financial markets, derivatives and equities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment (the team sits on our NYC Trading Floor) multi-tasking fluidly amongst their various responsibilities.
- Open to a demanding schedule given the group’s fluid project and event roster.

The annual base pay range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 + discretionary bonus + benefits. Susquehanna considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, key skills, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
