  • Minimum of 4 years of environmental data management experience, including practical use of EarthSoft's EQuIS in a consulting or regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated experience processing and QA/QC'ing laboratory EDDs efficiently using EQuIS (EDP) (or comparable EDD workflow).
  • Working knowledge of EQuIS configuration/administration concepts.
  • Strong skills and proficiency with Microsoft-based software, including MS Access and MS Excel.
  • Interest and aptitude for building client-facing outputs (dashboards/reporting) using EQuIS dashboards.
  • Basic to intermediate SQL skills for querying, troubleshooting, and supporting reports/dashboards.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple project priorities and tight schedules.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination with project managers, laboratories, and technical staff.
  • Ability to help build and scale Roux's EQuIS capabilities by training and supporting other staff, including analysts with prior database experience.

Essential Duties
  • Support environmental project teams by managing, processing, and quality-checking environmental data in EQuIS to ensure datasets are accurate, complete, and suitable for reporting, compliance, and analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, scientists, engineers, and GIS staff to understand project requirements, prioritize data tasks, and deliver high-quality data support under tight timelines.
  • Process laboratory and field EDDs in EQuIS (EDP), perform QA/QC and completeness checks, resolve common errors efficiently, and coordinate corrections with labs and project staff.
  • Support routine data tracking, data loading, and data delivery workflows.
  • Develop, run, and refine standard queries (SQL-based or within EQuIS) and reports to support project reporting needs.
  • Assist with EQuIS database administration and configuration activities, including management of reference values, formats, templates, and standard reports.
  • Develop client-facing dashboards and reporting solutions (e.g., EQuIS-based and/or Power BI), working with project teams to translate technical data into clear, usable outputs for clients.
  • Help document workflows, QA/QC procedures, and guidance materials that improve efficiency, consistency, and quality across Roux's EQuIS-based data management services.
  • Provide hands-on training and ongoing support to other staff in the use of EQuIS and related data management workflows, enabling consistent and effective use of the system across projects.
