As an Equipment Service Engineer for Agilent, you will support the Boulder and Fredrick, CO NASD Labs. Ideal candidate will have an appetite for continuously learning about new instruments, software and consumables. Applying your interpersonal skills, technical know-how, team-centric mentality, and can-do attitude is essential. Success in this role will be achieved by your ability to help with solving lab instrument problems and a commitment to deliver the highest-levels of service.
This role will help tackle some of the sophisticated challenges that traditional Field Service Engineers encounter, without the logistical challenges of travel and variability amongst client sites. This role will provide support to Agilent's Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient manufacturing labs.
Your Role:
You will be responsible for supporting two Colorado Agilent LDG/NASD labs with on-site installation, maintenance and repair of Agilent and multi-vendor systems solutions. Our multifaceted product lines include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems.
Instrument technologies may include the following, among numerous others:
- HPLC's (1260/1290, LCMS & QTOF, BioInerts, etc.)
- GC, GCMS
- ICPMS
- Flame AA
- UV-Vis Spectrophotometers
- OligoPro II Capillary Electrophoresis
- FTIR
- Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations at internal Agilent sites
- Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems, relating most often to hardware
- Performs maintenance and repairs
- Performs instrument installation and qualification
- ACE is the primary method for execution of qualification testing
- Documents activities and repairs in Computerized Maintenance Management Software
- Supports audits defending maintenance, qualification, and use of lab instruments
- Support equipment reliability by advising users on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance
- Deliver fully integrated solutions, including peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software
- Mentor other service engineers and instrument users on Agilent instrument systems
QualificationsRequired:- Bachelor's within a science field is helpful - e.g. chemistry, analytical chemistry biochemistry, biotechnology or similar
- 4+ years experience in a similar position or experience as an end user
Desired:- Experience with the Agilent solutions is desired
- Agilent provided instrument training is highly preferred
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving
- cGMP regulated environment experience preferred

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $43.12 - $67.37/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
