Dewberry's Denver, CO office is seeking a motivated and innovative Entry-Level Water Resources Engineer to join our Resilience Solutions Group. This role supports the advancement of the science and practice of floodplain analysis, flood risk assessment, and water resources engineering. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, planners, and programmers to develop and apply hydraulic models, analyze riverine and floodplain systems. This position offers opportunities to work with a broad range of advanced tools and technologies, including statistical, hydrologic, and hydraulic modeling platforms, geospatial analytics, emerging digital solutions, and cloud-based computational workflows. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in hydraulic engineering, floodplain management, flood risk assessment, and water resources planning and design. The ideal candidate is technically curious, collaborative, and eager to expand their expertise with excellent communication and writing skills.

Dewberry offers a comprehensive and very competitive package of insurance programs to regular full-time employees and their eligible dependents the first of the month following their date of hire. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, works effectively in a team environment, and has an interest in applying engineering principles and modeling tools to solve complex water resources challenges.

The projected range for this position is $84,000 - $86,500 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
