Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Entarian seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Development Lead to guide Agile software development teams in delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing enterprise applications. This role requires deep technical expertise across modern development frameworks, cloud platforms, and DevSecOps practices-alongside exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate has experience supporting large-scale enterprise or government environments and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong familiarity or hands-on experience with a wide range of technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, AngularJS/Angular, Amazon EKS, AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kafka, .NET/Visual Basic/C#, Windows Server, IIS, Tableau, Oracle databases, and Microsoft SQL Server.

The position serves as the primary lead coordinating engineering activities, operational priorities, customer engagement, project execution, and cross-team collaboration. The role requires strong expertise in operational leadership within a fast-paced enterprise environment.

  • Proven ability to lead technical teams through all phases of the SDLC-design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Demonstrated experience guiding architecture decisions, code quality standards, and best practices for multi-platform systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience leading Agile software development teams, providing technical leadership and hands-on guidance.
  • Proven experience in full-stack web application development.
  • Strong development expertise with technologies such as Java Spring Boot, AngularJS/Angular, .NET, C#, and Visual Basic.
  • Experience building and deploying applications in containerized environments using Docker and Docker Compose.
  • Experience designing and developing responsive web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g. React, Angular, jQuery)
  • Experience designing and implementing data access layers and database schemas using JPA or similar ORM frameworks.
  • Proficiency in writing automated tests, including unit, integration, functional, accessibility (508), performance, and end-to-end tests.
  • Hands-on experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tooling for automated build, test, security scanning, and deployment.
  • Experience working in AWS Cloud environments, including services such as Amazon EKS (Kubernetes), Kafka (managed or self-hosted), and cloud-native architectures.
  • Strong database experience with platforms including PostgreSQL, Oracle, and familiarity with data visualization and reporting using Tableau.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking, creative problem-solving ability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or government IT environments.
  • Background in identity and access management, including SSO, certificate-based authentication, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Experience coordinating operational support activities, including change management, incident response, and production troubleshooting.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities, along with excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.


Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Java (Java 17, Java 11, Java 1.8/1.8.0.2) with hands-on experience leading development of enterprise-scale applications.
  • Strong front-end engineering capabilities using Angular (including AngularJS 13, 13.3.9, and 8.2).
  • Deep experience deploying and orchestrating containerized applications using Amazon EKS and Docker.
  • Solid background with relational databases including PostgreSQL (11.5), PostgreSQL 10, Oracle (12.1, 19c, 19.0), and Microsoft SQL Server 15.0.
  • Expertise building and maintaining .NET applications using .NET/C#, .NET/C# 4.6, .NET/Visual Basic 6, and .NET/Visual Basic 4.8.
  • Familiarity with enterprise messaging and event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server (including Windows Server 2019) and general Windows administration practices.
  • Experience configuring and managing IIS 10.0 and IIS 6.0 web hosting environments.
  • Experience working within AWS cloud environments, including AWS EC2 2016.
  • Ability to interpret and build dashboards or analytics using Tableau.
