Job Description

ESN Inc. is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Level Engineer with experience with Navy ship warfare system engineering including:
  • Experience in Leadership and Technical roles onboard US Navy AEGIS Destroyers/Cruisers/AEGIS ASHORE.
  • Experience related to the identification and analysis of complex systems engineering issues involving New Construction and modernization efforts for the US Navy AEGIS Fleet.
  • Background in writing technical documents to include: training materials, installation guides, configuration management concepts, proposals, and reports in accordance with DoD technical documentation guidelines and standards.
  • Experience with combatant combat system software and hardware management and employment.
  • Familiarity with DoD/DON Policies and Procedures related to systems engineering processes as well as test and evaluation of Navy combat systems.
  • Familiarity with Mission Based Systems Engineering, Modeling and Simulation, and U.S. Navy Combat Systems and Naval Operations.


Job Requirements

Mid-level Engineers:
  • An Associate's degree in a technical field (this could include, but is not limited to: computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management and system engineering), with twenty (10) years of U.S. Navy Combat Systems experience, OR
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field (this could include, but is not limited to: computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management and system engineering), with five (5) years of relevant engineering experience (this could include, but is not limited to experience in DoD systems architectures, design, development, and test and evaluation; experience in concept definition, requirements definition and initial and detailed system design activities), OR
  • A Master's in a technical field (this could include, but is not limited to: computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management and system engineering), with two (2) years of relevant engineering experience (this could include, but is not limited to experience in DoD systems architectures, design, development, and test and evaluation; experience in concept definition, requirements definition and initial and detailed system design activities)
