Job Description

We are seeking an Engineer IV.

This job is located on-site at Newport News Shipbuilding in Newport News, VA.

ESN is seeking an Engineer IV to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) PEO Carriers with Engineering Management Documentation Support for New Construction CVNs.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Update metrics, spreadsheets, and reports pertaining to Work Package completion on New Construction CVN(s) weekly.
  • Attend Weekly HME TTL meeting to explain graphs and metrics from updates on Mondays.
  • Update metrics and graphs on Thursdays for weekly Production and Schedule meetings.
  • Update Agenda for Bi-weekly Government Management Team (GMT).
  • Lead GMT Agenda meeting and update agenda with input from meeting.
  • Update weekly AWE metrics for PMS 378 with data provided from NNS.
  • Update AWE Schedule Metrics for PMS 378.

Experience Requirement:
  • Ten (10) years' experience in CVN nuclear engineering.

Education Requirement:
  • BS degree in engineering.

Security Clearance:
  • Must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET clearance.
