NASCAR is seeking an experienced Engineer, Event Race Live Applications to:

  • Help shape the real-time technology platforms that power NASCAR race operations and data distribution.
  • Lead the design and delivery of scalable, low-latency applications and streaming systems.
  • Drive innovation, reliability, and performance across mission-critical live event technologies.
  • Create resilient cloud-based solutions that support real-time data delivery at scale.
  • Advance engineering excellence through technical leadership, collaboration, and mentorship.

What You'll Do
  • Develop, modify, and implement complex software applications using modern technologies including C# .NET, Node.js, and Go.
  • Design, build, and support high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines and real-time streaming systems.
  • Develop and maintain the race data platform, including services, WebSocket infrastructure, subscriber management, and real-time data delivery.
  • Build and operate scalable, containerized applications in AWS, ensuring availability, resiliency, and performance.
  • Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance metrics to maintain application health and reliability.
  • Lead software testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of critical technical issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices and technical strategy.
