Full Job Description
We're looking for candidates with at least four years of experience in oil & gas law, primarily litigation and/or regulatory law or related similar experience.

This is a strong opportunity for an attorney looking to build a lasting practice in Santa Fe to be substantively involved with high-level work and client-facing engagement, with meaningful room to grow within an unparalleled client base, and to take on real ownership over time. Position Requirements

Ideal candidates will have at least four years of oil & gas, environmental, and/or water rights litigation experience and be interested in other water related work, such as water quality. Administrative litigation and regulatory experience is a plus. Candidates should be ready to immediately contribute to a team while also being comfortable working independently. Candidates must have an outstanding academic record, demonstrate excellent drafting and communication skills and have experience with, or potential to handle, large firm/client practice and expectations.

Compensation and Expectations

Holland & Hart's compensation is merit-based-you'll be evaluated on your individual performance and achievements and on your contributions to the team's efforts.

Our generous bonus program rewards financial contributions and hard work and associates are also eligible for fee splits.

Holland & Hart expects associates to invest 1800 hours on billable matters, 75 hours of pro bono/public service work (or 50 hours of pro bono legal work), in addition to at least 25 hours dedicated to Community-building, Diversity & Inclusion Investment hours. Contributions to the life of the firm is vital to the collective success of the firm, and we encourage our lawyers to engage in ways each person finds meaningful through various committees and firm activities.
