Implements, maintains, and supports Epic, Sunrise & Meditech EHR applications, focusing on specific modules as assigned. Independently analyzes and resolves moderately complex issues, leveraging established guidelines and experience to configure and optimize the Epic, Sunrise & Meditech systems. Actively contributes to process design and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.

Job Responsibility
  • Implements and provides ongoing support for our EMR solutions, ensuring seamless operation and optimal functionality.
  • Analyzes and documents complex use cases and workflows, making independent decisions on optimal technical approaches and system configuration.
  • Configures, tests, installs, and maintains EHR applications, translating functional requirements into system build.
  • Ensure the test scripts have been created, reviewed, and updated to reflect proposed workflow solutions.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves moderately complex application-related issues, applying established guidelines and prior experience.
  • Collaborates with various internal stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and IT teams, to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and design solutions, ensuring EHR applications specifications meet business needs, support process design initiatives, and promote effective system utilization.
  • Participates in the testing and validation of system upgrades and supports ongoing system optimization efforts.
  • Conducts thorough testing of system changes to guarantee seamless integration and minimal disruption to daily operations.
  • Communicate effectively in English via emails, Teams meetings & chat, etc. across all teams associated with task assignments.
  • Support the training team by keeping trainers abreast of new functionality and system changes.
  • Troubleshoot problems and address questions from users and provide on-call support on a rotating basis.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and across teams to achieve the completion of tasks.
  • Complete all tasks in a timely manner with accurate documentation.
  • Participate in disaster recovery measures.
  • Provide assigned on-site support during go-lives and system upgrades.
  • Understands interface requirements and considerations to ensure appropriate testing is done to validate workflow from end to end.
  • Analyze new functionality in new releases to identify impact.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferred. This includes EHR system build/configuration/troubleshooting, HL7 data integration and other healthcare focused IT proficiency.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite necessary.
  • Candidates must complete an assessment evaluating critical thinking and technical problem solving skills to be considered for hiring.
  • Epic certification, Sunrise and Meditech experience highly preferred.
  • Clinical, ancillary and revenue cycle healthcare experience welcomed.

Salary - $100,000 to $125,000 based on experience
