Electro Mechanical Engineer for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC). Our team designs, develops, and manufactures precision-engagement aerospace and defense systems for the United States and allied militaries, delivering mission-critical hardware that must meet the toughest reliability, performance, and security standards.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Electro Mechanical Engineer you will create innovative electromechanical concepts, develop production-ready hardware, and partner with a broad-based engineering community to ensure successful program delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:- Designing and developing electromechanical subsystems such as circuit-card assemblies (CCAs), harnesses, enclosures, and sub-assemblies.
- Producing detailed mechanical layouts, 3-D models, and engineering drawings, selecting appropriate materials, components, and processes.
- Modeling wiring harnesses in Zuken and generating complete Bills of Material.
- Building model-based routing and layout packages that satisfy size, weight, and power constraints.
- Defining acceptance-test criteria, executing verification tests, and documenting results in Windchill.
- Conducting Material Review Board (MRB) actions, updating engineering change records, and maintaining configuration control.
- Collaborating with structural and thermal analysts, configuration management, electrical/mechanical designers, subcontractors, planning, and quality teams.
- Providing technical support during design releases, assembly, inspection, and test phases.
- Traveling to supplier sites or manufacturing facilities as needed to resolve issues and validate hardware.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university; Master's degree or PhD preferred
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Electromechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Proficient in CREO modeling and electromechanical system design
• Proficient with CCA/PWB, cable/harness design and development, and electronic packaging design
• Technical or project leadership experience supporting the production of high-reliability electronics products
• Project leadership/management experience throughout the engineering/production lifecycle: scoping, sizing, cost estimation, planning, scheduling, staffing, tracking, and earned value management (EVM)
• Experience in presentation, oral and written communication to facilitate effective and efficient interchanges between co-workers, leaders, and customers
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple locations
• Experience capturing flowed and derived requirements for electromechanical designs
• Must be a US Citizen; must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance

• Ability to perform design trade studies evaluating cost, weight, packaging, and power benefits
• Familiarity with CAMEO
• Flex circuit and microelectronics design experience
• Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
