- Work collaboratively with clients, project managers, engineers, designers and drafters in the preparation of deliverables to BBA and client standards
- Establish client needs, prepare or review reports, estimates, specifications, quotations and proposals
- Independently or with others, perform electrical studies such as powerflow, short circuit
- protection,arc flash, grounding, NERC PRC and MOD compliance, EMF
- Develop and implement work methods for the execution of project work
- Lead, supervise, train, and mentor junior engineers during the project execution
- Perform site inspections, testing and commissioning at client sites
- Create project scope of services, budgets and schedules
- Plan and monitor work assignments and costs
- Communicate with the client on active and future projects

Summary ofcertifications and job requirements- Bachelor, Masters or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in power systems from a recognized post-secondary institution
- P.Eng. or eligible to register with EGBC as a P.Eng
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with power systems and studies
- Experience with power system software such as PSS/E, DSATools, ETAP, APSEN. Must have recently performed studies such as powerflow, short circuit, dynamic & transient studies
- Experience preparing and reviewing technical documents such as reports, specifications, design drawings, studies, plans, and instructions
- Highly technical mindset with advanced engineering knowledge
- Experience developing proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFP) and/or developing work scope based on clients' needs
- Practical knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Strong and demonstrated critical thinking skills
- A valid Class 5 driver's license
- Able to travel to customer sites and other BBA offices within Canada, the USA, and international destinations for project short-term assignments, such as site meetings, field reviews, site assessments, tests, and more
