Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Controls Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Skilled with hand tools, gauges, multimeters, and power equipment.
• Safety training in arc flash and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborative work.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical circuits from 24V AC/DC to 575V.
• Understanding of electrical hazards and relevant industry codes (NFPA 70).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and system drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design and verify electrical schematics using AutoCAD.
• Calculate electrical data critical for commercial HVAC systems.
• Collect and analyze performance and component data to enhance product reliability.
• Troubleshoot and test electrical systems to ensure optimal function.
• Conduct safety and performance tests on new prototypes to validate designs.
• Set up and communicate wiring installation practices effectively.
• Stay updated on industry standards such as UL 60335-1 and UL 60335-2-40.
