Position Introduction/Key Duties
Cimarron is seeking an
Orbital Flight Instrumentation (OFI) Engineer to support the Boeing's CST-100 Starliner spacecraft as a part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Key Duties:- Work with subsystem teams to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Analyze and translate requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
- Test and validate hardware to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Mange OFI subsystem RCCA activities and provide status to stakeholders over the entire product lifecycle.
- Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
- Coordinate with hardware and software teams to ensure OFI subsystem integration aligns with program objectives.

- 2 or more years of related experience.
- Experience in orbital flight instrumentation, particularly in space or airborne systems.
- Excellent technical documentation review and verification skills.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with experience working across multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor's degree.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:- Experience supporting NASA or aerospace programs.
