Full Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Design Lead for assignment in Chandler, Arizona. The selected candidate will lead the development and delivery of complex electrical design packages for advanced facilities including semiconductor, industrial manufacturing and mission critical projects.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
This position is on-site
This position requires advanced proficiency with Revit
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical power distribution, lighting, and grounding designs using AutoCAD and Revit
- Plan and coordinate electrical design execution strategies to support project objectives, schedules and budgets
- Lead multidisciplinary coordination efforts and resolve design conflicts across electrical, mechanical, process, controls, structural and architectural disciplines
- Review and approve design deliverables for technical quality, consistency, constructibility and compliance with project requirements
- Coordinate directly with engineers, project managers, construction teams and clients
- Develop staffing plans and support workload forecasting for assigned projects
- Mentor, coach and provide technical guidance to junior designers and developing professionals
- Promote design quality, continuous improvement and digital delivery best practices
- Identify opportunities to improve project execution, design standards and workflow efficiency
- Support proposal development, estimating and project planning activities as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 10+ years of Electrical Design experience
- Advanced proficiency in Revit
- Demonstrated experience leading complex electrical design scopes
- Ability to coordinate and deliver multidiscipline project packages with limited oversight
- Experience developing BIM execution and model coordination workflows is highly preferred
