Full Job Description
Oxford Solutions is working with a heavy industrial client seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in power systems design and industrial electrical engineering projects. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a hybrid work schedule and the chance to lead projects while supporting and mentoring a small engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing and supporting low and medium voltage power systems within industrial environments and possess strong technical knowledge related to electrical infrastructure, instrumentation, and controls.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and support electrical systems for heavy industrial facilities
  • Perform field investigations, site assessments, and technical evaluations
  • Develop low and medium voltage power distribution system designs
  • Support instrumentation and controls design activities
  • Utilize power system analysis software such as ETAP and/or SKM
  • Ensure designs comply with NEC, IEEE, and applicable industry standards
  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical documentation, and project deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and field personnel
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and designers
  • Assist with project coordination and management activities

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • 5-8 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, including internships or co-op experience
  • Strong understanding of electrical power systems and industrial electrical design
  • Experience working in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of NEC and IEEE standards
  • Proficiency with electrical design and calculation software
  • Experience with ETAP, SKM, or similar power system analysis tools
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
