Position Summary We have an exciting opening for an
EHS Manager - West located in Livermore, CA who will have responsibility over five (5) additional locations located as follows: Eugene, OR, Enumclaw, WA, Santa Fe Springs, CA, Corona, CA, and Rohnert Park, CA. This position will report to the Division EHS Manager and dotted line to each location's Operations Leader. While this position does not have direct reports, the individual may indirectly direct operational leaders who also have EHS responsibilities at the site locations.
This position is responsible for being a key business partner to the site operating teams aiding in the deployment and execution of company Environment, Health, & Safety Program. This person will serve as the primary liaison between the EHS function and site operating teams and will assist with coordinating all aspects of environmental, health, safety (EHS) and sustainability management. This person will partner with site operating teams to successfully meet their shared responsibility for regulatory compliance and risk reduction efforts to prevent workplace injuries/illnesses.
Your main responsibilities would include - - Responsible for leading and executing EHS programs and procedures, cascaded from Corporate, Group or Division, across multiple manufacturing sites and engineering centers to meet business unit and division EHS objectives and targets with an emphasis on risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and resource conservation.
- Responsible for leading and execution of applicable EHS management systems which include the Corporate EHS Directives, ISO 14001 certification, and any other applicable EHS management system certifications or business unit elements.
- Responsible for EHS data reporting into required Benchmark Gensuite digital applications, regulatory reporting (i.e. Tier II, TRI, etc.), and division reporting.
- Manages Gensuite EHS training tracker application for applicable EHS regulatory training requirements of all site(s) employees.
- Manages Gensuite Action Tracking System (ATS) and corrective actions resulting from program assessments, regulatory inspections, injuries and illness investigations, EHS audits, and other EHS self-assessments
- Manages a resource conservation program which will include but not be limited to energy use, water use, and waste reduction.
- Provides guidance on regulatory and legislative matters (OSHA, DOT, EPA, ANSI, etc.) to the site's operating leaders
- Manages and executes compliance obligations for all applicable environment permits including industrial stormwater, industrial wastewater, and air emissions.
- Manages and executes compliance obligations for the generation and disposal of RCRA hazardous waste, Universal Waste, and Non-hazardous waste
Who we are looking for talent with - - Bachelor's Degree (BS) in occupational safety or related field, EHS certifications preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience with 8-10 years preferred
- Experience in an industrial work environment, multi-site responsibility preferred
- Experience in design and deployment of robust safety and equipment hazard control programs
- Solid working knowledge of US EHS regulations, including resource conservation (RCRA)
- Working knowledge of Benchmark GenSuite software desired
- Strong process skills for project and program management, standardization and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to influence people at all levels
- Ability to articulate strategic plans and details regulations to business leader and team members.
- Willing to work independently and have the ability to travel approximately 50% of time

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule Competitive Compensation- Pay Range: $106490 to $177635 annually
