What You'll Do- Leading and maintaining Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across the organization, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
- Working closely with operations leadership, engineers, and employees at all levels to implement best-in-class safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement
- Maintaining and improving occupational safety programs such as high-voltage, crane safety, chemical management, incident management, industrial ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and air quality.
- Managing safety ticketing system and associated metrics
- Leading accident/incidents investigations, analyze root causes, and implement preventative actions; Managing occupational and/or workers compensation injuries
- Identifying proactive workplace safety opportunities in a manufacturing environment and documenting safety inspections
- Owning all hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, including proper handling, labeling, and storage
- Recognizing requirements and ensuring compliance to safety programs and standards including: hazard communication, fall protection, respiratory protection, lockout/tag-out (LOTO), machine guarding, power & hand-held tools, electrical, emergency response, and chemical management
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Safety Management, Occupational Safety or a related field; or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of managing and implementing Environmental, Health, and Safety programs in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of applicable regulations (OSHA, CalOSHA, EPA, CUPA, SCAQMD, NIOSH)
- Working knowledge of ANSI standards
