EH&S Manager - Onsite

The Job:
As an EH&S Manager, you’ll be part of our Engineered Fastening team located in Elyria, OH. You’ll get to:
Lead, train, and cultivate an exceptional EHS culture within the division to achieve world-class safety performance and to meet increasingly stringent corporate performance objectives.
Develop and coordinate various internal auditing processes to ensure compliance with both internal and external regulatory standards such as OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.
Deliver and track EHS training for all plant employees to ensure required annual safety certifications, incident prevention, emergency response and preparedness, and safe work practices.
Serve as lead interface with OSHA, EPA, or any other local, state or federal agency.
Manage and/or coordinate industrial hygiene surveys or studies to identify and control a wide variety of physical and chemical stressors.
Serve as the site’s liaison with designated global property insurance carrier to provide closure to open recommendations and to help ensure conformance with their requirements.

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, or related field
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in heavy manufacturing with demonstrated ability to implement EHS programs
Detailed, working knowledge of OSHA and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations
Practical experience managing EHS programs in conformance with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred

The Salary range for this position is $95,600.00 - $153,900.00
This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
