Role description

Job Title: Director - Program & Project Management

Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a senior onsite Program Manager to own end-to-end delivery for large multitrack Duck Creek initiatives Policy Billing and or Claims.
  • You will drive program governance scope budget releases and stakeholder communication across business and technology teams while orchestrating upgrades enhancements integrations and cloud OnPrem deployments on the Duck Creek platform
  • The role is highly client facing with weekly executive reporting and tight coordination across vendor and customer teams including upgrade preparation and discovery for major platform changes


Technical Skills (Primary, must have):
  • Duck Creek Program Leadership: Proven track record managing large Duck Creek programs Policy Billing and or Claims including enhancements and platform upgrades
  • Duck Creek Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of Policy admin rating underwriting rules forms Billing agency direct bill commissions disbursements and Claims FNOL reserves payments integrations and their cross-module dependencies
  • Tooling Delivery: Solid experience overseeing teams configuring Author Express Page Builder TransactServer Manuscripts and leveraging Trace Monitor Dynatrace for diagnostics hands-on familiarity with Azure DevOps for backlog pipelines and release governance
  • Integration Data: Orchestrated integrations with third-party systems e.g., payment gateways such as One Inc data migration and environment planning across lower and production tiers
  • Client Facing Leadership: Excellent executive communication stakeholder facilitation and onsite presence to lead discovery elaboration and steering sessions


Technical Skills (Secondary, nice to have not mandatory):
  • DevOps Deployment: Familiarity with Duck Creek DevOps practices and On Demand Controller ODCH CICD using Azure DevOps Git and Octopus
  • Data Diagnostics: Proficiency in SQL for validation working knowledge of XML XSLT XPath for forms manuscripts and interface payloads
  • Analytics Reporting: Exposure to Duck Creek Insights and Extract Mapper for reporting and downstream data needs
  • Cloud Performance: Experience guiding onPrem SaaS environment decisions performance tuning and capacity planning for peak loads
  • P&C Domain: Depth Familiarity with personal and commercial lines e.g., Auto HO WC GL BOP and relevant regulatory market constructs


Soft Skills:
  • Executive level communication and storytelling clear concise outcome-oriented updates and dashboards
  • Stakeholder influence negotiation across business architecture security and vendor teams
  • Systems thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities under time and scope pressure
