Minimum 2 years' experience providing direct care to multiple residents
Nursing degree from an accredited college or graduation from an approved LPN/LVN program
Current, unencumbered license to practice as LPN/LVN in the state
Knowledge of, or training in, adult learning or previous training experience
Familiarity with nursing practices, procedures, terminology, and regulations pertinent to long-term care

Full Job Description
Salary Range: $110-120k per year
As a Director of Staff Development (DSD LPN/LVN), you will provide the necessary orientation, educational, and learning opportunities in a supportive environment that will assist staff in gaining the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to perform assigned duties safely and effectively. You will monitor the activities of nursing staff to ensure the quality of care complies with state, federal, and corporate standards. Additionally, you will direct the infection prevention and control program and oversee its activities.
