We are seeking a strategic, high-energy
Division Manager to take full operational and financial ownership of our
Virginia Division. In this critical leadership role, you will manage all divisional assets, including a high-performing Direct Store Delivery (DSD) sales force, warehouse operations, and administrative staff. You will also collaborate closely with our vital network of Independent Operators (IOs). What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Strategic Leadership & Sales Execution (80%)
- Full P&L Ownership: Manage the financial profit and loss, sales budgets, and top-to-bottom financial results for the entire Michigan division.
- DSD & IO Network Management: Lead, mentor, and hold Territory Sales Management accountable. Partner strategically with Independent Operators to ensure flawless field execution.
- Route Optimization: Analyze and restructure distribution flows from Independent Operators, proactively launching new routes to capture untapped market share.
- Executive Reporting: Keep upper management ahead of the curve by delivering concise daily, weekly, and annual territory analysis and performance work plans.
Operations, Compliance & Merchandising (20%)
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive landscapes, tracking pricing shifts, new product launches, and evolving merchandising techniques to maintain Olé's competitive edge.
- Operational Excellence: Direct warehouse operations, manage shuttle driver efficiencies, and minimize out-of-stock (OOS) gaps across the division.
- Compliance Management: Ensure the Distribution Center remains fully compliant with all local regulatory requirements, safety standards, and operating permits.
What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills)
- DSD Expertise: 1+ years of supervisor or management experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) retail or field-based sales leadership.
- Network Experience: Proven success working with and managing an Independent Operator (IO) network.
- Education: A College degree in Business Administration or a related field is highly desired but not required.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating standard business tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and industry-specific software (X-Sales, internal operating wizards).
- Leadership Traits: A self-motivated, highly organized leader with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a track record of building positive employee relations.
- Language Skills:Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred but not required.
