Description Position SummaryHP Pressure Pumping Services is committed to safe, compliant, and efficient oilfield operations. The District Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, safety, compliance, and financial results of assigned district operations. This role provides direct oversight of field personnel, equipment utilization, customer relationships, and operational execution while ensuring adherence to all company policies and regulatory requirements. The District Manager plays a critical leadership role in maintaining operational excellence, workforce development, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities - Lead and manage all district operations to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable performance.
- Provide direct supervision and leadership to field supervisors, operators, and support staff.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, and applicable state regulations.
- Monitor job performance, productivity, and service quality across all district activities.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and support business growth.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet operational demands.
- Review operational reports, safety metrics, and financial performance indicators.
- Enforce company safety programs, incident reporting, and corrective action processes.
- Support hiring, training, coaching, discipline, and performance management.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and district improvements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.
Operational Responsibilities - Oversee daily field operations, logistics, and equipment readiness.
- Ensure accurate completion of job tickets, billing documentation, and operational reports.
- Monitor maintenance schedules, inspections, and regulatory compliance records.
- Manage district budgets, cost controls, and financial performance.
- Coordinate with safety, HR, and compliance teams to maintain operational standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency programs.
Compliance & Safety Responsibilities - Adhere to all HP Oilfield Services safety policies and leadership expectations.
- Ensure district compliance with OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, and state regulatory requirements.
- Lead safety meetings, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation.
- Verify proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
- Maintain required certifications, training records, and regulatory documentation.
- Immediately escalate serious safety or compliance concerns to executive leadership.
Required Qualifications - High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of oilfield, trucking, or industrial operations experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, personnel, and operational performance.
Preferred Qualifications - Prior district-level or multi-site operational leadership experience.
- Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA compliance and oilfield service regulations.
- Experience with safety programs, incident management, and workforce development.
- Technical or mechanical background related to oilfield equipment or trucking.

Work Conditions - Work occurs in both office and active oilfield environments.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, noise, fuels, and industrial hazards may occur.
- Required PPE includes hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, hearing protection, and flame-resistant clothing when in field environments.
- Position is designated as safety-sensitive under company policy and applicable law.
Tools & Equipment Used - Company trucks, trailers, and district equipment.
- Computers, tablets, scheduling and reporting software, and communication devices.
- Hand tools, inspection tools, and operational diagnostic equipment.
- Safety monitoring and compliance documentation systems.
Supervisory Responsibilities - Directly supervises field supervisors, operators, drivers, and support personnel within the district.
- Responsible for hiring input, onboarding, training, discipline, and performance evaluations.
- Provides leadership, coaching, and accountability for district workforce performance.
- Ensures staffing levels support safe and efficient operations.
Performance Expectations - Maintain strong safety culture with measurable reduction in incidents.
- Achieve district productivity, utilization, and financial performance goals.
- Ensure accurate and timely operational and compliance reporting.
- Demonstrate professional leadership, communication, and decision-making.
