The Role This role will sit in our San Francisco office. - Responsibilities will include all phases of litigation and arbitration.
- Knowledge of and ability to draft pleadings (complaint and answer), motions, and memoranda of law. Including conducting relevant legal research.
- Previous experience handling all phases of discovery, including drafting discovery requests and responses to discovery requests, and analysis of information produced in discovery.
- Ability to take and defend depositions, handle court appearances, and work collaboratively with team members to develop strategies for each case.
- The role will also involve contributing to the team's profile and undertaking business development activities to establish, develop, and maintain long-term relationships; including, writing articles/posts, attending events/conferences and building networks with private wealth contacts/intermediaries including global and peer firms and counsel.

Key Skills and Experience - Strong academic credentials (J.D. required);
- Between 3 - 5 years of experience practicing in a law firm's litigation group;
- California Bar membership (in good standing) required;
- Experience with taking and defending depositions and handling court proceedings;
- Excellent drafting, writing, research and communication skills;
- Exposure to sophisticated disputes and investigations (domestic required; international a plus);
- Strong project management with an ability to balance a large number of competing priorities;
- In-depth analytical ability and intellectual curiosity
For California, the expected salary range for this position is between $205,000 and $260,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
