Full Job Description
The role

You will lead Trust & Safety at Suno. Directly leading enforcement operations and policy, you will also partner with PM, Eng, and Legal to scale detection and remediation of violative content, fraud, bots, and identity issues, while also navigating music rights and our regulatory obligations. Generation volume grows faster than any human review model can, so we focus on building enforcement systems that scale with the platform, hold it to a high degree of accuracy, and know exactly what decisions costs. You will report to the Head of Operations and partner regularly with Comms, Product, Engineering, ML, and Legal.

What you'll do
  • Build and lead the T&S team, including enforcement operations, policy, vendor programs, quality management, and training.
  • Own enforcement economics end-to-end: cost per decision, precision and recall tradeoffs at volume, automation rate targets, queue design, and the vendor versus in-house mix.
  • Govern AI-assisted decisioning: model-assisted enforcement pipelines, human-in-the-loop thresholds, appeals architecture, and audit accountability for automated actions.
  • Own the BPO relationship and every Trust & Safety vendor partnership: selection, contract negotiation support, capacity strategy, quality accountability, and the decision of what stays outsourced versus moves in-house
  • Run the operational layer of music rights enforcement: rights-matching abuse patterns, impersonation and copyright workflows, in close partnership with Legal.
  • Partner with Legal to translate regulatory regimes (DSA, OSA and emerging AI-content rules) into tooling, process and measurable operational readiness.
  • Represent Trust & Safety to executive leadership with clear metrics and honest tradeoffs.

What you'll bring
  • 8+ years in trust & safety, integrity, or content operations, including 4+ years leading teams through significant scale inflections.
  • Demonstrated ownership of enforcement metrics at a UGC or generative AI platform: automation rate, decision accuracy, cost per action, appeal overturn rate.
  • Experience building or governing model-assisted enforcement with human-in-the-loop design and audit accountability.
  • A track record of moving Product, Engineering, Legal, and Policy without direct authority.

Nice to have
  • Music, media or IP-adjacent platform experience and fluency in rights-matching abuse patterns.
  • Direct exposure to DSA, OSA or emerging AI-content regulatory regimes as operational requirements.

Compensation and benefits

The annual salary range for this role is $195,200 - $256,200 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401k)
