Full Job Description
The Sales Director is responsible for the execution of sales strategy, on-going business development and owns the sales results to assign Global key accounts in US. Working closely with VP of sales, you will create the structure, processes, and incentives that will increase sales of UCT products and services. You will use data analysis of sales numbers, customer accounts, competitive intelligence, and market trends to make needed adjustments. You will also leverage internal resources within the Account Sales, Operations and Engineering team to develop comprehensive solutions to position UCT as the preferred supplier to key accounts. Activities include but are not limited to voice of customer feedback, fostering teamwork and the support/development of complete proposal packages, value proposition creation, alliance development/pricing, contract coordination and negotiation with decision-maker.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Full accountability of sales pipeline development especially in customer next generation products, sales execution and quotation pricing management.
  • Leads on strategic and tactical implementation to drive success and satisfaction for your account.
  • Responsible for achieving revenue & GM% targets of UCT semiconductor products.
  • Serve as the business owner for resolution of customer issues by providing right stewardship to cross functional customer focus team.
  • Responsible for co-formulating and driving account strategy, development, plan and maintenance.
  • Provides sales actual/forecasts and business information for each customer on an ongoing basis and at management quarterly review.
  • Maintains frequent contact with all key functional organizations at each customer site especially high touch management and engineering that influence the use, application, or commitment to UCT processes and services. Ensure UCT is properly positioned to secure next generation opportunities.
  • Works closely with customer facing teams, including Operations, Quality, NPI, Account Operations, SCM and Engineering to provide coordinated communications to customers. Fosters and builds close collaborative relationships with these teams to ensure success. Works with team to develop and present business proposals and drive accountability to meet customer expectations.
  • Work directly with the key personnel within UCT co-workers to develop quick response to issues and coordinate feedback and corrective actions to the customer in the event of issues.
  • Gather and report information on competitor intelligence through established relationships at the customers and within the industry. Assess competitive risks both from a technical and business perspective and take necessary action to address other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure follow-through of UCT and team business process to completion.
  • Drive Technical Review Meeting with key accounts.

Educational/Certification Requirement:
  • Tertiary Degree preferably in Engineering or Business Management. MBA desirable.

Experience Requirement:
  • Minimum 10 years of Semiconductor and/or Microelectronics Industry and/or Electronic Contract Manufacturing Experience with a strong emphasis in engineering, or business development or sales and customer management.
  • Preferably with added experience in product development/engineering domain.
  • Ability to influence decision makers throughout the chain.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills.
  • Proven experience in strong demonstrated results, directly to end user.
  • Market knowledge of dynamics and key players in the industry.
