Job Title: Director, Remanufacturing

Location: Winter Haven, FL

Job Summary:

The Director of Remanufacturing leads all remanufacturing operations, driving production performance, quality, safety, and long-term strategic growth for the Winter Haven facility. This role oversees operational KPIs, weekly performance reviews, inventory accuracy, workflow optimization, and supply chain transformation to ensure equipment readiness and best-in-class service delivery. The Director builds and develops a high-performing team, fosters a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and partners closely with cross-functional leaders to align staffing, technology, budgets, and business priorities. With responsibility for multi-million-dollar budgets, vendor performance, and facility standards, the Director ensures operational excellence, on-time execution, and strong customer and internal stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Own operational KPIs, scorecards, review cadences, and strategic correction plans across availability, compliance, downtime, repeat repairs, productivity, maintenance cost, parts readiness, and vendor service.
  • Lead weekly operational reviews including production output, quality failures, RMAs, customer issues, staffing alignment, and inventory accuracy.
  • Drive efficiency and workflow improvements through SOP development, schedule optimization, packaging standards, shipping/receiving enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Leverage data and technology to improve remanufacturing scheduling, operational visibility, and decision-making.
  • Develop and execute long-term strategy including a 3-5-year roadmap for remanufacturing, production, and supply chain transformation.
  • Translate commercial strategy into execution by aligning production and supply chain priorities with business goals.
  • Assess supply chain operations and lead transformation initiatives across inventory, warehouse operations, sourcing effectiveness, and planning accuracy.
  • Build and develop a high-performing organization by selecting, coaching, mentoring, and developing leaders, supervisors, and technicians.
  • Create a culture of safety, accountability, and problem-solving through engagement routines, listening sessions, communication boards, and daily/weekly huddles.
  • Model and coach cultural change required to sustain continuous improvement and business transformation.
  • Partner with Operations, HR, IT, Finance, and local leadership to align schedules, staffing, technology, budgets, and growth initiatives with business needs.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for senior leaders, affiliates, and customers regarding performance, service commitments, and remanufacturing capabilities.
  • Communicate operating results, risks, resource needs, and recovery plans to leadership weekly/monthly.
  • Manage multi-million-dollar budgets including equipment, vehicles, parts expense, vendor performance, warranty recovery, and cost-control initiatives.
  • Ensure safety compliance through LMS management, weekly Gemba walks, and proactive risk identification.
  • Govern standard work for preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, repairs, quality control, and release-to-service.
  • Maintain facility readiness by managing maintenance work orders and ensuring a showroom-ready production floor at all times.
  • Implement management routines that drive execution, focus, and measurable results.
  • Track effectiveness of routines and metrics and adjust strategies to meet business objectives.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 8+ years of operational experience in remanufacturing, production, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain roles within large consumer-goods environments.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience overseeing operations, technicians, or professional-level teams.
  • Experience leading large teams of 100+ associates, including field-based or technician-based personnel.
  • Operational and financial management experience including budgets, forecasting, vendor oversight, warranty recovery, and cost-control initiatives.
  • Experience establishing operating standards such as KPIs, audits, preventive controls, and strategic correction processes.
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain processes including planning, procurement, inventory management, and manufacturing workflows.
  • Industry experience preferred with soft drink equipment, vending/cooler equipment, food service equipment or similar technical environments.
  • Experience developing SOPs and leading continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Gemba, LMS, Six Sigma) preferred.


Work Environment:
  • Work performed on cement floors in a warehouse environment.
  • Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperature conditions, including heat, cold and humidity.
  • Noise levels are typically moderate to high due to machinery, powered industrial equipment, and general warehouse operations.


Physical Requirements:
  • Repeated sitting, standing on cement floors, walking, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying, up to 35 lbs.
  • Continuous bending, kneeling, squatting, grasping, reaching, fine manipulation and exposure to chemicals and noise.
  • Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, twist, reach, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties.


Work Requirements:
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight.
  • Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Must follow all prescribed safety and security measures to protect associates and company assets.
  • Ability to travel to other CES locations, and customer meetings as needed.
