Full Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership
  • Partner with internal Stakeholders across departments to ensure procurement strategies are aligned with overall Store Growth objectives and deliverables.
  • Align with business stakeholders on sourcing needs and expectations with service, timing, savings, & compliance goals (Social, Ethical, Quality, Sustainability).
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and deliver procurement performance reports and key metrics to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, actionable insights, and areas for optimization.
  • Manage both strategic and operational needs of the business for Fixture and Print to support key deliverables for Store Growth.


Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
  • Identify high-impact sourcing opportunities, lead complex supplier negotiations, and implement cost-saving strategies for large-scale business initiatives.
  • Develop and execute both annual and long-term strategies for your category, aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Communicate strategic vision and priorities, leading cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation encompassing demand and quality management.
  • Build and sustain strategic relationships with key suppliers-including the Top 50 vendors-to ensure optimal performance, long-term value, and business alignment.
  • Drive fixture and print innovation by leveraging supplier partnerships to introduce new capabilities, enhance efficiency, and support enterprise growth for On Time and In Full compliance (OTIF).


Market Intelligence & Risk Mitigation
  • Proactively assess business risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure compliance with Supplier factories.
  • Manage supplier performance to ensure consistent delivery, quality, reliability, and adherence to contractual obligations ensuring alignment for OTIF, inventory and financial management.
  • Stay informed on market trends and supplier innovations to continuously refine sourcing strategies and drive sustainable long-term value.


Cross-functional Collaboration, Process & Technology Optimization
  • Provide an agile approach by bringing the best industrial practices to life which will drive operational efficiency and spend control.
  • Developing and optimizing procurement processes and procedures.
  • Leveraging procurement technologies.
  • Support the Vice President of Procurement with special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.


Category Focus
  • Fixtures: Strategic and operational management
  • Print: Strategic and operational management.
  • Packaging materials: custom and standard packaging
  • Warehouse operations: MHE (material handling equipment), racking, pallets.
  • Services: Store Operations services, building maintenance services (cleaning, landscaping, pest control, waste management)
  • Security services: physical security, access systems, surveillance
  • Energy management: utilities, energy efficiency services, renewable sourcing
  • Procurement Sustainability Lead


Crew
  • Directly manage a team of two (2) to three (3) full-time associates.
  • Oversee outsourced Print Managed Service Provider.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ten (10) years of experience in a leadership or management role within procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or a related function.
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and demonstrated ability to leverage market intelligence, spend analysis, and cost modeling to support strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise, including strong leadership, time management, problem-solving, and execution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to manage contracts and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Cost-conscious mindset with a demonstrated commitment to identifying savings opportunities and creating measurable value.


EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, design, technology, business administration, supply chain management, or a closely related discipline.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
