SUMMARY

The Director Operations will direct and manage daily operational activities for their respective business unit. This employee is responsible for coordinating activities for the business unit inclusive of process updates, strategy and other needs to help the company.

Essential Functions

  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives.
  • Facilitate staff meetings and act as the communication liaison regarding business unit updates.
  • Manage business unit operations and customer service projects and ensure deliverables are completed consistently and on time.
  • Oversee revenue by ensuring that the company maintains profit and expenditure goals by tracking and maintaining EBITDA goal.
  • Manage department managers in addition to overseeing the larger team, keeping balance and reporting levels in line with company standards.
  • Oversee staffing by projecting needs based on growth and deciding when the addition of new department and management team members are necessary.
  • Work with the human resources department to create job descriptions, hire competent personnel and oversee employee training programs.
  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics.
  • Assist accounting team on the collection process including escalation of issues with our clients.
  • Assist sales and marketing in record retrieval initiatives that pertain to their respective business units.
  • Implement key strategies and initiatives developed by the Records Executive Team for the business unit.
  • Safeguards confidentiality of medical records and complies with all local, state, and federal laws pertaining to medical records. Assures compliance with all HIPAA regulations concerning use, retrieval, storage, and sharing of medical records.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Three or more years of advanced experience in Operations and Management
  • Experience working in multi-function, multi-geography environment preferred
  • Proven experience designing, building, and managing discrete and/or end-to-end processes
  • Experience in the legal service industry a plus


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This is supervisory role and will oversee department managers and the larger team.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
