Director of Trust Administration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (CTFA, CFP, JD) preferred
• Minimum 7 years of experience in trust administration, including 3 years in leadership
• Experience as a fiduciary officer in a regulated trust company or similar institution
• Deep knowledge of trust law, fiduciary principles, and regulatory requirements
• Proven success in building and leading high-performing teams
• Strong understanding of custody operations and client management

Responsibilities

• Oversee all trust administration operations for custody and fiduciary services
• Lead and develop a team of trust officers with performance standards and succession planning
• Design and implement operational workflows and policies to ensure regulatory compliance
• Establish KPIs for trust operations and drive service improvement
• Collaborate with teams to enhance operational capabilities and client experience
• Serve as a fiduciary officer adhering to OCC requirements
• Oversee compliance with federal and state regulations and prepare for examinations
