Full Job Description
Organ Procurement is seeking a Director of Quality to join their team! In direct conjunction with the Executive Director is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of the business operation of LifeQuest. This includes but is not limited to supervision of the administration staff of the organization. In charge of contract management for approximately 100 agreements and contracts LifeQuest has with hospitals and vendors. Provides business management direction to the executive director, medical director, an assistant executive director to include such things as governing and advisory board meeting presentations, budgetary responsibilities, routine audits, and working with the 70+ hospitals with whom LifeQuest has an agreement to acquire electronic medical record access to all staff at LifeQuest who need it, etc. Leads quality assurance performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives and plays a key role in the continuous quality improvement committee for updates to the initiatives and strong documentation of all quality activities. Responsible for applications and preparations for licensure (AHCA), certification (CMS), OPTN/UNOS surveys, FDA surveys, accreditation (AOPO), and keeps LifeQuest in a survey-ready mode. Responsible for working with the executive director to approve PeopleSoft expenses for all LifeQuest employees.
Qualifications
Education & Experience requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management or finance with at least two years business management experience within an organ procurement organization.
• Equivalent education and/or equivalent experience in an organ procurement organization with project management duties similar to those listed throughout the job description maybe substituted for degree.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet development, PowerPoint, power BI, web-based database applications, and PeopleSoft accounting software. This position requires multitasking and business acumen, therefore requires a candidate with initiative who can work autonomously with minimal direction from others. Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) required.
