The RoleThe best software companies don't grow through direct sales alone - they grow through ecosystems: networks of partners who extend reach, deepen customer relationships, and deliver outcomes no single company can achieve alone. For Amperity, that ecosystem runs through the systems integrators and technology platforms.
As Director of Partnerships, you will build and run Amperity's partner motion end to end: identifying and recruiting the right SI and ISV/technology partners, structuring the commercial and technical relationships that make those partnerships work, and driving the day-to-day co-sell and enablement activity that turns a signed partnership into real, sourced pipeline. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role - you will be the one building relationships in the field, running joint GTM plays, and closing the loop between partner activity and revenue. You will report to Amperity's Chief Revenue Officer and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to make sure every partner-sourced opportunity is well-supported from first intro to closed-won.
Interesting ProblemsSource and structure new partnerships- Identify, prioritize, and recruit the systems integrators, agencies, and technology/ISV partners best positioned to extend Amperity's reach.
- Own partnership discovery, deal structuring, and the commercial framework for each relationship, from first conversation to signed agreement.
Drive co-sell and pipeline- Build and maintain trusted, working relationships with partner AEs, solutions engineers, and practice leads.
- Directly source qualified introductions and run joint co-sell motions alongside Amperity's sales team: customer intros, deal reviews, and joint pitches.
- Identify target accounts with partner field teams and execute coordinated outbound motions.
- Serve as the connective tissue between partner field organizations and Amperity's sales team.
Build practice and enablement- Champion Amperity inside partner organizations and build the case for why partner sellers and implementers should bring Amperity into their accounts.
- Partner with Amperity's enablement and product teams to develop the certification, training, and enablement assets that let partners position, sell, and deliver Amperity well.
- Evangelize joint wins and keep partner teams current on Amperity's roadmap, competitive positioning, and win stories.
Grow marketplace and technology partnerships- Grow new business transacted through hyperscaler marketplaces, moving Amperity's engagement from reactive to proactive.
- Own the commercial levers behind marketplace growth - co-sell relationships, pipeline quality, and partner funding/incentive programs.
Show up in the field- Engage partner events, conferences, and QBRs; host and co-host customer-facing events with partner counterparts to create pipeline moments.
- Maintain an active cadence of partner syncs and joint co-sell calls; plan for regular travel to partner offices and industry events.
Track and report performance- Maintain clean, accurate partner pipeline data in Salesforce, and use tools like Crossbeam to prioritize where to invest partner attention.
- Report on partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, marketplace transaction volume, and relationship health to sales and partnerships leadership.
What Success Looks Like- Pipeline: partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and closed-won business, growing quarter over quarter across your assigned partners.
- Field engagement: partner AEs, SEs, and implementation teams actively running joint motions with Amperity, not just aware of the partnership.
- Operations: clean, accurate partner pipeline data and a healthy, predictable partner referral flow.
- Enablement: a growing bench of partner sellers and implementers who can represent and deliver Amperity well without Amperity in the room.
About You- 5-8+ years in partnerships, business development, alliances, or channel/cloud sales at a B2B SaaS company, with a track record of sourcing, structuring, and closing partnerships that drove measurable pipeline and revenue.
- Hands-on experience with hyperscaler and data-cloud marketplaces (AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, GCP, or Azure), including the funding and incentive programs around them.

- Comfortable managing pipeline, forecasts, and partner-sourced opportunities in Salesforce; experience with account-mapping tools such as Crossbeam is a plus.
- Strong relationship-building instincts - you build trust quickly with partner field teams and keep relationships warm without being a pest.
- Energized by fieldwork: comfortable with regular travel, in-person meetings, and events, not a desk-bound executor.
- Commercially sharp - you can read a deal, identify how a partner accelerates it, and know when and why a partner motion is the right route.
- Highly organized and self-directed, comfortable building a partner practice from the ground up and operating with autonomy in ambiguity.
- MarTech, customer data platform, or adjacent data/analytics ecosystem experience strongly preferred.
