Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current state Registered Nurse License
Current American Heart Association certifications
BLS and ACLS certifications required
5+ years of nursing experience, preferably in a surgical or ambulatory setting
Strong leadership and management skills

JOB TITLE: Director of Nursing
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Director of Nursing is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Surgery Center. This includes but is not limited to overseeing the scheduling of procedures, inventory control, QA/ QI, staff credentialing, preventative maintenance and safety, risk management and all related supporting services of the ambulatory surgical center and its personnel.
REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current state Registered Nurse License required.
Current American Heart Assn.
BLS and ACLS certifications also required.
