Director of Nursing (DON)

Salary Range: $157k-$167k

As a leader in our facility, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring our nursing team while ensuring the delivery of top-notch care to our residents.

As Director of Nursing, You Will:

  • Provide nursing and administrative direction for our entire nursing services team.
  • Oversee the leadership and guidance of the nursing team in accordance with Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Ensure appropriate utilization of resources necessary to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other departments for a coordinated interdisciplinary approach.
  • Coach, develop, and lead our clinical team to success.


Must Have:

  • Previous experience as a Director of Nursing (DON), Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), or RN Manager.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a nursing supervisory role, providing direct care to multiple residents, with Long Term Care (LTC) experience being ideal.
  • Graduate of an approved RN program.
  • Knowledgeable in nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertinent to long-term care.


Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing Environment.
  • Familiarity with PointClickCare.
  • Advanced education in principles of management and geriatrics or DON certification.
  • Leadership principles expertise.
