Key Responsibilities

Strategy and executive leadership
  • Own marketing and communications strategy across all products, current and emerging , with new products consistently in the pipeline
  • Maintain and evolve a repeatable go-to-market framework that any product launch can run through.
  • Represent marketing in executive and partner-level conversations. Bring a point of view, support it with evidence, and translate company strategy into marketing priorities.
  • Set annual and quarterly plans, own the marketing budget, and define how success gets measured.

Event strategy and live brand experience
  • Own the annual event portfolio and its budget: industry conferences, partner events, and the customer summit.
  • Set the creative platform for each major event. One organizing idea that holds booth, advertising, print, giveaways, and stage presentation together, directed through production with the designer and outside vendors.
  • Own the customer summit end to end: programming, speakers, venue and vendor contracts, invitation strategy, run of show, and follow-through.
  • Develop the presentations that carry the brand from the stage, including script, rehearsal, and technical content built with product and engineering.
  • Direct co-marketing with strategic technology partners: joint presence, shared messaging, and how each company shows up in the other's rooms.
  • Build the demand system around each event and report what the room was worth. Pre-event outreach, on-site capture, post-event nurture, pipeline sourced and influenced.

Brand and content
  • Serve as the final authority on our company's brand voice, visual identity, and cross-product positioning.
  • Lead the corrections thought leadership program, including editorial direction and coaching for named authors.
  • Direct content strategy and production across website, email, social, video, and events.
  • Own executive communications, including customer-facing announcements and partnership messaging.

Team leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop a two-person senior team: a Marketing Manager who owns day-to-day execution and a Senior Designer who owns creative production.
  • Set clear priorities, protect the team from reactive prioritization, knowledge on how to give experienced creative teams their room to do their best work
  • Build the hiring plan and org design as the department grows.
  • Demand generation and sales partnership
  • Partner with sales on pipeline contribution, enablement materials, and competitive positioning.
  • Own the marketing technology stack, including HubSpot, and the reporting that comes with it.
