Full Job Description
Job Summary:

The Director of Business Operations will be reporting to Administrator, Upstate Neurological Institute, PMR, Upstate Transplant Center and is responsible for the overall business functions of the Upstate Neurological Institute (UNI) Provider Based Clinics to include Neurology and Neurosurgery and the Upstate Transplant Clinic and satellite clinics- and related operations to include establishment and maintenance of billing systems, monitoring financial processes, and income generation, operational efficiency, business development, business plans, recruitment, budget development, accounting review, service promotion, quality improvement. Establishes administrative policies and procedures in collaboration with clinic operational, quality and physician leadership teams to ensure efficient and effective fiscal operations, medical records systems, yearly budgets, and collections; and oversees the fulfillment of regulatory mandates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years progressive supervisory experience; or a masters degree with major in Healthcare, Business, or Public Administration and at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Business, or Healthcare or public Administration preferred
