Full Job Description
TITOL™ is seeking an experienced and highly resourceful Director of Logistics & Inventory to own the domestic and international movement, storage, and oversight of artist inventory across eCommerce, Touring, Retail, and other special projects. From coordinating time-sensitive domestic freight and international shipments to overseeing inventory across warehouses and storage locations, this role will manage TITOL™'s logistics and inventory needs end-to-end. This includes navigating import and export requirements, maintaining visibility and accuracy across inventory locations, and coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, retailer distribution centers, and other logistics partners to ensure product is stored appropriately and arrives on time. The ideal candidate brings deep working knowledge of global freight, customs, and inventory management alongside a highly hands-on, solutions-oriented approach and an underlying passion for the entertainment space. They are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, lean environment where timelines are often compressed and infrastructure may still be developing. They understand the cost, timing, compliance, and operational implications of their decisions, can communicate those tradeoffs clearly, and are resourceful enough to find practical solutions when the obvious path is not available. Working Environment: In-office 5 days/week with occasional travel or on-site support required. May involve weekend or extended hours during peak seasons. Very fast-paced and detail-driven environment, with a focus on problem-solving, managing multiple parallel projects, and re-prioritizing tasks as necessary. What You'll Do Domestic & International Logistics • Own the end-to-end movement of finished goods across eCommerce, Touring and Retail, including domestic and international shipments. • Plan and execute shipments from factories, vendors, warehouses, and other origins to fulfillment centers, retail distribution centers, tour locations, events, or other destinations globally. • Determine the appropriate shipping method, carrier, routing, and logistics partners based on delivery requirements, cost, urgency, shipment size, destination, and risk. • Coordinate directly with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, warehouses, vendors, and other partners to book, execute, track, and complete shipments. • Manage highly time-sensitive and complex shipping requests, quickly identifying viable solutions and taking ownership of getting product where it needs to go, on time. • Proactively track shipments from pickup through final delivery, identifying potential delays early and driving resolution when issues arise. Customs, Import/Export & Global Market Requirements • Serve as TITOL™'s internal subject matter expert on international shipping, customs, import/export requirements, and cross-border logistics. • Determine the required shipping and customs documentation and ensure information is complete and accurate before goods move. • Navigate country-specific import requirements, customs clearance processes, duties and taxes, tariff classifications, Incoterms, importer-of-record requirements, and other considerations impacting international shipments. • Identify when registrations, legal entity structures, tax or customs identifiers, brokers, importers of record, or other third-party solutions may be required to successfully enter a market. • Partner with internal Finance, Production, and Operations teams to establish practical solutions when TITOL™ does not yet have the infrastructure required in a particular market. • Troubleshoot customs holds, documentation issues, and other cross-border challenges quickly and proactively to minimize delays. Retail, Tour & Distribution Logistics • Coordinate logistics for product moving into major retailer and partner distribution centers, ensuring shipments meet all relevant delivery requirements. • Review and interpret retailer routing guides and vendor compliance requirements, proactively identifying requirements that could impact cost or delivery timing. • Manage logistics for tour and live-event needs, including shipments with highly compressed timelines, changing destinations, and hard delivery deadlines. • Coordinate inventory transfers between warehouses, fulfillment centers, vendors, tour locations, retail partners, and other destinations as business needs evolve. • Partner closely with Production, Brand Management, eCommerce, and other internal teams to understand upcoming launches, tours, deliveries, and product movements to plan logistics accordingly. Freight Partners, Costs & Planning • Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, warehouses, and other logistics partners across domestic and international markets. • Develop a reliable network of partners and resources that allows TITOL™ to move quickly and solve complex or urgent logistics needs. • Obtain and evaluate freight quotes, routes, service levels, and logistics options to balance cost, timing, reliability, and business priority. • Understand and clearly communicate the cost and timeline implications of logistics decisions so internal teams can make informed decisions quickly. • Proactively flag when production schedules, launch dates, shipping methods, destinations, or other decisions are likely to create significant freight costs, customs risks, or delivery challenges. • Review freight and logistics costs for accuracy, identify opportunities for cost savings, and help TITOL™ make smarter logistics decisions without compromising critical delivery timelines. Inventory & Storage Management • Maintain accurate inventory records across locations, proactively resolving discrepancies with internal teams and external partners • Provide monthly updates on inventory movements, material changes, storage needs, and other key developments. • Oversee inventory across warehouses, fulfillment centers, storage facilities, vendors, and other locations, ensuring accuracy through regular cycle counting, reconciliation and replenishment • Oversee storage capacity and needs across locations, proactively identifying when additional or alternative storage solutions are required. • Manage relationships with warehouses, 3PLs, and storage partners, ensuring inventory is handled, stored, and reported accurately • Oversee outbound pick, pack, shipping, and transportation processes across fulfillment and storage partners, troubleshooting issues and driving resolution as needed. • Monitor storage and inventory-related costs and identify opportunities to consolidate inventory and reduce unnecessary storage expenses Logistics Operations & Process Improvement • Track recurring logistics issues and identify root causes, process gaps, or infrastructure needs that can reduce delays and unnecessary costs over time. • Help build scalable internal logistics operations as TITOL™ continues to expand into new markets, channels, and business opportunities. • Serve as the primary internal escalation point for complex, urgent, or high-risk logistics issues and take ownership of driving them through resolution. Who You Are • 5+ years of experience in logistics, freight, transportation, supply chain, or a related field, with significant hands-on responsibility for domestic and international shipments • Demonstrated solid proficiency across the supply chain, with an emphasis on warehousing and distribution operations • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Transportation preferred but related experience in lieu of degree will be heavily considered • Deep working knowledge of global freight, customs, import/export processes, and cross-border shipping requirements. • Demonstrated experience coordinating international shipments and working directly with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, warehouses, and other logistics partners • Experience navigating customs documentation, duties and taxes, tariff classifications, Incoterms, importer-of-record requirements, and other international trade considerations • Experience shipping into major retailers, distribution centers, fulfillment centers, or other environments with specific routing and vendor compliance requirements strongly preferred • Highly resourceful and solutions-oriented, with a strong bias toward action. When faced with an urgent or complex shipping need, you know how to quickly identify a viable path and drive it through execution • Able to operate effectively with incomplete information, rapidly changing priorities, and highly compressed timelines while exercising sound judgment around compliance and risk • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent shipments, deadlines, stakeholders, and destinations without losing visibility • Strong communicator who can clearly explain logistics requirements, risks, costs, timelines, and tradeoffs to teams without deep logistics expertise • Calm under pressure and comfortable taking ownership when shipments encounter unexpected issues, delays, or last-minute changes • Comfortable working independently and getting into the details in a lean, fast-moving organization rather than relying on large teams or established infrastructure to solve problems What We Offer • Best in class health, dental, and vision insurance • Healthcare FSA • Dependent Care FSA • Commuter Benefits FSA • Short-term/long-term disability and life insurance • Paid Parental leave • 401k with 4% match • Pet Insurance • Legal and Identity Theft Plans • Vacation time and sick days $125,000 - $135,000 a year The Pay Range, which consists of salary and commission, for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The above statements cover what are generally believed to be principal and essential functions of the job. Specific circumstances may allow or require some incumbents assigned to the job to perform a different combination of duties.
