Job Responsibilities:
Leadership & Governance:
Leads the execution of the multi-site inventory control programs, standards, and operating procedures across multiple locations; identify opportunities and recommend enhancements to inventory controls and processes.
Oversee market-wide physical inventory activities, including wall-to-wall inventory programs; review inventory adjustments and escalate significant write-offs in accordance with established guidelines.
Ensure consistent execution of 3-way match processes and SAP-based inventory controls across sites, supporting inventory accuracy, compliance and audit readiness.
Partners with Trade, Sales, Finance, and Operations leadership to support inventory planning and forecasting activities; provides inventory insights and recommendations to help achieve service, revenue, and inventory performance objectives.
Operational Oversight:
Accountable for order-cycle performance, on-time distribution, and truck/shipment optimization across the market; resolves escalated discrepancies and vendor/shipment disputes.
Reports inventory performance, productivity, and risk to executive leadership; sets KPIs and holds site managers accountable to them.
Owns system-of-record accuracy across facilities; approves resolution plans for recurring or high-impact discrepancies identified in weekly system comparison reporting.
People Leadership:
Leads, coaches, and develops Inventory Control Managers, Supervisors and associates across multiple locations; builds succession and talent pipelines within the function.
Sets standards for driver check-in and product logging processes, ensuring consistent compliance with warehouse operations guidelines market-wide.
Drives the physical inventory program strategy and oversees execution across all sites.
Security, Theft Enforcement & Accountability:
Partners with Operations, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, and Risk Management to ensure security controls, investigation procedures, and incident escalation processes are consistently followed across facilities.
Oversees theft and shrink initiatives across the market, including investigation processes, review loss-trends and escalates significant incidents in accordance with established company policies and procedures. Partners with Human Resources, Loss Prevention, Legal, and Risk Management to strengthen theft deterrence controls and ensure consistent enforcement of consequences for policy violations.
Ensures identified compliance gaps are addressed through appropriate corrective action plans and follow-up.
Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in inventory control related roles.
Minimum of 8years' progressive experience in Supply Chain Operations and Inventory Management, including proven experience leading managers, supervisors, or multi-site teams.
Demonstrated experience leading inventory control operations across multiple locations, implementing inventory management programs, and driving process improvement initiatives.
Advanced proficiency with SAP or comparable ERP/WMS platforms, plus MS Office and presentation software for executive reporting.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with operational leaders, cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, solve complex operational issues, and drive results across a multi-site environment.
Strong analytic, financial, and reporting acumen; comfortable owning budget and forecast accountability.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Excel, data visualization, and analytical modeling skills.
APICS/CPIM, CSCP, or comparable supply chain certification.
Experience operating within a unionized or multi-site regulatory environment.

Compensation
$138,000-$186,875
