Job Description

The Director, Healthcare Research and Data Analytics is responsible for being a thought leader around healthcare industry dynamics, synthesizing trends in the industry to enhance sales strategies and credit risk, and utilizing public and proprietary data to make more informed sales and credit decisions. In coordination with sales leaders and credit staff, they will serve as a central point of aggregation and synthesis for industry trends. They will maintain relationships with key external thought partners and own the analysis of internal and external data to make more informed decisions.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will serve as Central Figure for Healthcare Thought Leadership - Aggregate. You will consolidate and convey the bank's perspective on healthcare industry trends and issues, focusing on its three current business segments, and share this insight internally and externally as part of a wider marketing strategy.
  • You will spearhead the development of a healthcare data analytics strategy, leveraging available CMS data and the INC platform to enhance prospecting, sales, and credit decisions through improved underwriting and data analysis.
  • You will co-develop an external marketing strategy that leverages collective expertise to establish BOK Financial as a healthcare industry thought leader through strategic content creation and delivery.
  • You will be actively involved in the ongoing development of BOK Financial Healthcare Banking's broad strategy, using thought leadership and data analytics to expand our client portfolio and the segments we serve.


Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of knowledge management experience with a specialization in the Healthcare sector, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • In-depth expertise and knowledge of the healthcare industry, legislation, and economic shifts. Ability to synthesize public news and recent developments into cohesive trends and themes for the benefit of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resourceful and self-motivated to formulate ideas and content with only directional parameters and guidance.
  • Excellent understanding of the healthcare data landscape and ability to utilize both public and internal data to draw conclusions and make data-based business decisions.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with analyzing data using a variety of data analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of experience.
