Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Director, FP&A Data Lead to shape and execute the data strategy for our corporate finance organization. In this high-impact leadership role, you will drive the roadmap for governed, high-quality, AI-ready finance data products that support enterprise-wide planning, reporting, analytics, and automation.
Core Responsibilities
  • Data Strategy & Roadmap Execution: Lead the finance data strategy in alignment with transformation priorities, focusing on planning modernization, reporting standardization, and AI readiness.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Bridge Finance and Technology teams by translating complex business requirements into scalable data solutions. Partner closely with FP&A, controllership, data engineering, architecture, and governance teams.
  • Data Product Governance: Design and govern reusable finance data products, models, and semantic layers that standardize key metrics, hierarchies, and financial logic across planning tools and dashboards.
  • Agile Delivery & Backlog Management: Drive the delivery of data products by prioritizing backlogs, supporting agile execution, enforcing data quality validation rules, and establishing metadata management and lineage standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of progressive professional experience, with a strong core focus in finance, FP&A, or financial data transformation.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of finance processes, management reporting, and financial hierarchies within a large, complex, matrixed organization (media, entertainment, or tech preferred).
  • Technical & Product Acumen: Familiarity with modern data platforms, data catalogs, semantic layers, and enterprise planning/business intelligence tools (such as SAP EPM, SAC, or Datasphere). Proven product mindset with experience defining roadmaps and prioritizing use cases.
