What You'll Be DoingCIBC's Residential Credit Finance & Securitization Group is seeking an experienced professional to support the structuring and execution of RMBS transactions across a diverse range of residential mortgage asset classes. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, deep knowledge of mortgage securitization structures, and the ability to work closely with internal partners, clients, rating agencies, and other transaction stakeholders.
How You'll Succeed- Oversee the full structuring process for non-Agency RMBS transactions, from early-stage pitching through transaction close
- Use Intex Deal Maker to construct cash flow waterfalls, ensuring structural features (e.g., sequential/pro rata pay, shifting interest, deal triggers) are modeled correctly
- Partner with the banking team to support the rating agency process and sizing credit enhancements
- Ensure offering documents accurately reflect structuring assumptions & outputs
- Run various stress testing and scenario analysis (prepayments, defaults, severities)
- Coordinate with stakeholders on internal model development and maintenance
Who You Are- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of relevant experience in RMBS structuring, securitization, mortgage analytics, or related roles
- Deep knowledge of deal mechanics and structures across residential mortgage sectors, including Non-QM, Investor, Jumbo, Agency Investor, RTL, and related asset classes
- Advanced quantitative skills and strong proficiency in Excel, with experience in Intex Dealmaker, Intex Calc, CAS, VBA, Bloomberg, and similar modeling platforms
- Strong understanding of collateral analysis, cash flow modeling, rating agency methodologies, and transaction documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $225,000-$300,000 for the New York, NY market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
